DIY Sanitizing Wipes and Gel

This week I was in a grocery store doing my weekly run for supplies and wishing for anti-bacterial wipes that I could keep in my purse and use as I shopped. Of course, there was nothing on the shelves that said “anti-anything” but there were packages of regular wipes so I decided to buy some and make my own. Here are some ideas on how to make your own wipes and hand sanitizer.  There are several options so search through your cabinets, see what you have and make your own.

If you are not able to find wipes you can use a roll of high quality paper towels. Cut the roll in half and put in to a jar or empty chlorox wipes container. Use one of the recipes above but double the recipe. Pour over the paper towels. After all the liquid soaks into the paper towels pull out the cardboard center so that you can pull the paper from the center. Seal.
